Rollin' on the River Car Show June 2013
GM shipped a few 1952 Oldsmobile 88s to dealers with porthole windows installed in the hoods to show off the Rocket
88 mills. While most of the hoods were replaced with solid hoods before sold to customers, the one above survived in
original state. It's a one-owner beauty sold in the East that just made it's way to Evansville recently. This was one of
many treats for car nuts at the 10th Annual Rollin' on the River Car Show that is part of Shrinefest.
Corvette turns 60 years old in 2013 and the Vette above is a fine example of an early version. Below, two 1936
Plymouths offered an interesting contrast in build styles.
