Westside Nut Club Car Show
Crusin' Franklin Street is a must when you're part of the annual
Westside Nut Club Car Show in Evansville, and there was no
shortage of drivers this year.  We saw it all motoring up and down
the street--hot rods, fine street machines, muscle cars, street rods,
rat rods and antiques, and even a rail dragster.
One of the highlights of
the Nut Club Cruise-In
was Jerry Weinzapfel's
1957 Studebaker
station wagon showing
only 89,000 miles.  He's
the original owner and it
has survived years of
family duty including
teenage drivers.  It
sports a fresh
restoration and we
hope to see it at a few
more shows.
